So excited to announce the release of the 2018 Stressed Vines Petersen Vineyard Chardonnay. This wine was crafted with grapes harvested from the Petersen Vineyard located in the Russian River Valley at the edge of Petaluma Gap. The vines thrive in this cool location, thanks to the Petaluma Gap’s unique temperature shifts and cooling breeze. A perfectly balanced Chardonnay This is a crisp, light-bodied wine. .
We're processing the grapes for the 2019 Stressed Vines Pinot Noir from the Hills of Annapolis, CA this morning at @punchdown_cellars . The fruit came in exceptionally clean so sorting was a total breeze. After de-stemming and sorting, all the fruit was placed into a bin with dry ice for a three to four day cold soak. Then we had to run a sample up to ETS Labs for the initial chem panel.
The'17 Stressed Vines Pinot Noir and the bison filet with brussel sprouts is the perfect pairing at Billy Can Can Saloon. All of our current wines are on the menu so do yourself a favor and check it out and have an amazing dinner.
Picked up these once used Bordeaux barrels for our 2019 Howell Mountain and Alexander Valley Cabs and delivered them to Stressed Vines' new custom crush, Punch Down Cellars (PDC). 2019 harvest is upon us.
This morning I walked the beautiful vineyard in the hills of Annapolis, in Northern Sonoma County, from where we're sourcing the grapes for the 2019 Stressed Vines Pinot Noir. The vines are in great shape. Based on brix and conversations with my extremely talented winemaker Erica (@estan88), we should be picking in 10-14 days. We'll see what is brought in first; the Chardonnay or this Pinot Noir. Stay tuned.
