So we just heard the news that we're going to be shut down for another 30 days. Sometimes reality can be a bit overwhelming. I decided that retreating into a good "Dime Store" Western story from one of my favorite writers while enjoying a wonderful glass of 2017 Stressed Vines Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon on the back deck is exactly what's needed right now.
Is the wine glass half empty? Or is it half full?
With all that's going on in our world today the question is probably more relevant then you would think. How we look at things shapes how we feel. It's easy to feel scared, lonely and frustrated with all the shelter in place orders and the uncertainty. All of those things are out of our control. What is in our control however is how we choose to deal with those feelings.
In my case I've chosen to look at this wine glass as half full with an amazing 2017 Stressed Vines Pinot Noir from the hills of Annapolis in northern California. .
So tell me, is your wine glass half empty or half full?
Scary times and times of uncertainty? I beg to differ! I say cast fear side and think positively and manifest your preferred reality. Yeah some things are a little freaky and out of our control for the moment but how we react is completely in our control. Take this time to count your blessings. The blessings of friendship and family. The blessings of following your dreams. The blessings of living your best life. The blessing that you now have time to drink more wine #drinkmorewine!
Working at home tonight after getting some take-out from one of my local restaurants. Remember eat local! #eatlocal & drink more wine!
