Our wines are made from grapes sourced from vineyards that produce grapes that are not only "stressed” but are also known as some of the best vineyards in the region.
Stressed Vines' 2017 Pinot Noir was Inspired by the great Pinot Noirs of Burgundy and Sonoma County. Crafted from the highest quality grapes (Clone 777) sourced from a single vineyard nestled within the micro-climate hills of Annapolis in northern Sonoma County, this wine is medium bodied with a unique and special blend of minerality, acid, and tannins with aromas of ripe red cherry, red currant, rhubarb, cranberry, bramble, baking spices and violets. Stressed Vines' 2017 Reynoso Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon began with the finest grapes grown in the rocky hills found in northern Alexander Valley. These grapes were sourced from hills of the Reynoso Family Vineyard which is known to produce some of the finest grapes sold to many of the top producers in Sonoma County. After a cold fermentation and extended maceration, the pressed off juice rested in 40% new French oak to extract its fully balanced combination of dark fruit, tannins, and oak.
Stressed Vines’ 2018 Petersen Chardonnay was crafted from grapes harvested from the Petersen Vineyard located in the Russian River Valley. The vines thrive in this cool location, thanks to the Petaluma Gap’s unique temperature shifts and cooling breeze. A perfectly balanced Chardonnay This is a crisp, light-bodied wine with aromas of lemon verbena, white peach, white flowers, bay leaf, toast, butterscotch, all coupled with a creamy lemon curd palate and balanced by a light oak texture.
Stressed Vines' 2018 Rosé is the perfect blend of 86% Pinot Noir saigńee and 14% Vermentino pressed juice from grapes grown in some of the best vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands located in the Santa Lucia Mountains. This is a dry, crisp and refreshing light-bodied wine that balances elegance and sophistication with refreshing acidity, and aromas of pink grapefruit, watermelon, fresh strawberry and pear blossom.
