STRESSED VINES MAKE BETTER WINE
It is said that "stressed vines make the best wines. The harder the vine works to produce fruit, the more vibrant and concentrated the flavor, the more balanced the acid and the smoother the tannins.
Stressed Vines' 2018 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Reynoso Family Vineyards in Alexander Valley. The wine is inky in color with sweet black currant, orange rind, elements of warm pie crust, and luxardo cherry. The mouth shows richness with mixed dark fruits, followed by black tea, Redwood forest notes and dark minerality.
Stressed Vines' 2018 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from a single vineyard on Howell Mountain, overlooking Napa Valley. The wine has a wonderful dark inky purple color with notes of licorice, black currant and blackberry fruits as well as the signature elements of spices, graphite and leather. On the palate the wine shows a nuanced richness with the perfect balance of tannins and just the right hint of oak.
Stressed Vines’ 2019 Indindoli Chardonnay was born from grapes harvested from the renowned Indindoli Vineyards in the heart of the Sonoma Coast. A perfectly balanced Chardonnay inspired from the best in Burgundy and California. This is a crisp, light-bodied wine defined by sharp acid and full fruit balanced by a light oak texture, with aromas of lemon verbena, white peach, white flowers, bay leaf, toast, butterscotch, all coupled with a creamy lemon curd palate which can be enjoyed now or after a couple of years of cellaring.
Stressed Vines’ 2019 Peterson Chardonnay was crafted from grapes harvested from the Peterson Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. The vines thrive in this cool location thanks to the Petaluma Gap’s unique temperature shifts and cooling breeze. A perfectly balanced Chardonnay inspired from the best in Burgundy and California. Firm acidity lifts up a tightness of oak in this crisply structured, bright white. Meyer lemon, pear and white peach combine to give it a full flavored midpalate, and a richer note of crème brûlée on the finish.
Stressed Vines' 2019 Sonoma Coast Rosé is the perfect blend of Pinot Noir saigńee (95%) and Vermentino (5%) pressed juice from grapes grown in some of the best vineyards in the Sonoma Coast AVA. This is a dry, crisp and refreshing light-bodied wine that balances elegance and sophistication with refreshing acidity, and aromas of pink grapefruit, watermelon, fresh strawberry and pear blossom.
Stressed Vines' 2018 Pinot Noir was inspired by the great Pinot Noirs of Burgundy and Sonoma County. Crafted from the highest quality grapes sourced from a single vineyard nestled within the micro-climate hills of Annapolis in northern Sonoma County, this wine is medium bodied with a unique blend of minerality, acid, and tannins with aromas of ripe red cherry, red currant, rhubarb, cranberry, bramble, baking spices and violets.
