Barrel-aged for 22 months, this generous wine delivers aromas of dark fruit, leather and black pepper. Balanced tannins reflect the uniqueness of Howell Mountain's elevated terroir. Well-integrated oak provides sustantial structure. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for five to ten years to experience complexities that are revealed with time.
The 2019 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon shows an alluring display of blackcurrant, red berry compote, and licorice. Decanting will deliver aromas of milk chocolate, sweet wood, and spice. Rich and deep, the wine is weighty on the palate and persistent in finish. Fine, silky tannins and bold fruit flavors provide great aging potential.
Extended barrel-aged for 34 months, this Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark and concentrated wine delivering aromas of stewed fruit, leather, and toast. Powerful tannins reflect the intensity of Howell Mountain’s distinct terroir, and the well-integrated oak provides substantial structure.
